Job Description

We have been engaged to identify a Operations Lead for an international start-up career consultancy whose ethos is to promote diversity and professional growth using internationally recognised resources

Reporting to the COO, the Operation Lead will manage a diverse workforce to drive the seamless functionality of each department and the day-to-day operations to ensure the brand’s corporate short and long-term objectives are achieved, in line with the overall vision and strategy.

As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind, an innovative approach, and proven success managing multiple departments and leading them towards maximum productivity. This would include implementing best operational practices, people management, inclusion and culture initiatives.

Managing a combination of a on-site and remote team; we are looking for a self-starter who can formulate strategic and operational objectives, minimise operational risk, perform quality controls and monitor KPIs

This role is ideal for an aspiring COO who wants an opportunity to take ownership of organisational effectiveness in a start-up environment and positively impact a rapidly growing brand who are creating a niche for themselves in the market.


  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
  • Supporting the COO, and the executive team’s vision and process ideals.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Actively design strategic and operational initiatives by reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments


  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or similar would be a great advantage
  • Professional Certifications that support operational effectiveness is desired but not essential
  • Proven experience in an operations management position
  • Experience working with or managing remote teams is very advantageous
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisational control
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
