This is a strategic, insight-driven engagement designed to inform investment, product positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
As the Market Research Consultant, you will lead a 4-week research engagement focused on evaluating product-market fit, consumer demand, competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, and distribution potential within the UK agriculture and agrifood sector.
Design and implement a focused research plan aligned with client objectives.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (e.g. expert interviews, surveys, desk research).
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and consumer preferences.
Provide clear strategic recommendations for market entry, including risks and opportunities.
Deliver a final report and virtual presentation to senior stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5+ years’ experience in market research, ideally within FMCG, agribusiness, or food sectors.
Deep understanding of the UK market, particularly agricultural product trends and consumer behavior.
Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to translate data into compelling insights.
Self-starter with experience managing research projects independently.
Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom.
Bonus: Experience in market entry strategy or import/export feasibility.
