We have been exclusively engaged to identify an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to support the leadership of a high-impact healthcare organisation operating within a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework. This pivotal role sits at the centre of executive operations, ensuring seamless leadership support, efficient decision-making, and effective stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

The Senior Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to both the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), acting as a trusted advisor, confidant, and coordinator of critical executive-level initiatives. This position demands a professional who combines strategic thinking with flawless execution, enabling leadership to focus on advancing the organisation’s healthcare impact across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

The role goes beyond traditional administrative support, encompassing a broad spectrum of high-level duties, including but not limited to:

  • Managing executive calendars, schedules, travel logistics, and board documentation with precision.

  • Drafting, preparing, and reviewing reports, strategic communications, and executive presentations that drive informed decision-making.

  • Serving as a key liaison with government agencies, private sector partners, and development stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships on behalf of the executive office.

  • Supporting the planning and flawless execution of board meetings, high-level events, and executive engagements.

  • Monitoring and coordinating executive-level projects, ensuring deliverables are achieved and deadlines met.

  • Conducting research and preparing briefing materials to inform leadership strategies.

  • Overseeing executive office systems and administrative processes to drive governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished and highly organised professional with a proven ability to operate at the C-Suite level. Key qualifications and attributes include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree is an advantage).

  • 7–10 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, with at least 3 years directly supporting senior executives or board-level leadership.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and edit high-level documents and correspondence.

  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and project coordination skills, with a track record of managing competing priorities.

  • Exceptional discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with virtual collaboration platforms.

Why Apply?

This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic role at the very heart of an influential healthcare organisation. As Senior Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with top leadership, gaining exposure to executive decision-making and governance at the highest levels.

  • Build strong networks across government, private sector, and development partners, positioning yourself as a key connector in Nigeria’s healthcare space.

  • Contribute directly to initiatives that impact lives and strengthen healthcare systems nationwide.
